Being an indie author also means that I’m a small business. Unfortunately, that means making hard decisions. While I love all my readers on all platforms, if I want to continue writing I’ve made the financial decision to put my books back in Kindle Unlimited. The majority of my income comes from Kindle and until I can find my footing again, that’s where they will stay. I do hope to be able to offer my books to everyone again some day but that time is not now. What’s Erin up to in August? This month I had the pleasure of going to Romance Rendezvous Book Blast in Cedar Falls, Iowa! Thanks so much to everyone who came out to see me! We unlocked another stretch goal!

It’s UNLOCKED!!! If our hardbacks print in full black pages with white text, the middle page will be this gorgeous BLOOD RED art quote spread! It’ll still be included now that we’ve reached funding but I’d love to see this gothic aesthetic have an even edgier appearance for our fierce heroine, Piper. Our next stretch goal is the end pages and I have two options for us: The Red Rose End Pages, or the Black Rose End Pages. Let me know in the comments, which one you’d like to see for the House of Durand’s gorgeous special edition!
