Lately, some of you might have noticed, I’ve deterred away from urban fantasy fairy tales and crime fighting angels into the hot world of the reverse harem.

Really, I had no idea reverse harems were even a thing (in America). I’d only heard of them in the many, many, animes I’ve watched throughout my life time. Hell, I didn’t even know Anita Blake (my Bible!) was even considered a reverse harem until someone told me.

So, when J.A. Cipriano came to me and was like ‘Hey, wanna do a dragonshifter reverse harem?’ I was like ‘Huh?’ then after many back and forths was like ‘Hell yeah, I do!’

And I’m happy I did! It’s so fun to write a reverse harem. For those who don’t know it’s one female multiple males (sometimes even females) who all date (usually focused solely on the female) with everyone knowing and agreeing to it. No cheaters!

At first, I thought it would be really confusing. Writing three love interests who would all end up with the main character and then once I started I found it wasn’t hard at all.

Keeping their features straight was hard! This one has this colored eyes and this one has a big one. Don’t even get me started on trying to figure out where all the body parts went!

Overall, it’s been an enjoyable experience and I look forward to doing more in the coming months. Not to say I won’t do more fairy tales or other urban fantasies, I’ll just be sure to wiggle in some reverse harem as well.

In celebration of my new venture, here’s a teaser of Starcrossed Dragons book two, Grinding Frost!
